Help from shop choosing paddle, next day delivery, dream sweet spot.
Completely unplayable paddles, was not expecting much because I understood they were cheaper. Bought with intention to supply for a group of players to make a kit bag. Disappointed with them, unusable
I’ve been playing pickleball for about a year, and this trainer has taken my game to another level. The smaller paddle face really forces you to hit the sweet spot, and after a week of drills I could already feel my consistency improving. The weight and feel are just like a regular paddle, so it’s a smooth transition back to match play.
Design is almost perfect. I love it. But when it comes to the feel, I was expecting little more popping feel and shorter handle. It's all about my style of play. I thought that would be the case but honestly I felt it more in 6.0's Quartz (it says 5inch handle like Arachne but Quartz has little shorter handle with the same spec) though it's not wide-body shaped. That's why I give it 4/5. With shorter handle like 4.5 inches and poppier feel, that would be my killer one.
This is a great paddle, the carbon spins the ball really well and the odd shaped handle is remarkably good and very comfortable. The sweet spot is smaller than I imagined but that does not detract from how nice a paddle this is. Additionally it was 50% off when I bought it so tremendous value.
